Hello.. I am new to this site and appreciate any advice in advance!
We recently took in a foster kitten and soon after found that she had ringworm. At the time we brought her to the vet, she had it on half of her paw and two little circles on her ears. The vet gave us anti-fugal shampoo and topical cream to apply twice a day. We built a big cage for her and go in twice a day for about an hour to apply the cream and play with her. We replace her toys frequently and change our clothes upon exiting the cage.
A week and two baths later, her ringworm has gotten worse! She now has it on her whole paw, her face, and her ears (more than just the two circles). My question is, does it get worse before it gets better?
Also worth mentioning, my kitty is also on Azithromycin for a respiratory infection. My vet said that it would be okay, though.
