I have a cat who is about 4 years old now.  She has always had a weird habit of licking some objects like vertical window blinds and sometimes the fireplace doors when its open.  Now recently I also noticed she has some fur loss on her lower stomach and some on her front legs near the elbow (or whatever the joint on their front paws is called!).  I'm not sure if they are related.  Other than that nothing else if different, if anything she seems more lively than usual.

She is an indoor cat and the most she does if she goes outside is lay on our patio.  We do have two other cats who go outside about an hour or two a day (but stick mostly around our apartment) but we flea treat them all regularly.  She has had all of her shots except for rabies since we have been keeping her as an indoor cat (and that was before we got the other two cats).

Hopefully it is just from stress, we recently were fostering an abandoned kitten for a few weeks who we kept away from the other cats (until she was flea treated, spayed, had blood work done, etc).  Whenever this kitten got out she would hiss at our cats and smack them (we trimmed her claws, so they weren't sharp enough to break skin).  We have given the cat to someone else to foster and possibly keep a couple days ago which is when we noticed the fur missing.

I tried searching for this online but I only found cats licking weird things OR losing fur and not any cases of both together (if they are related or can be related).

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like your girl is really stressed out. The behaviour you're describing makes me wonder if she has OCD. I suggest you take her to the vet and explain what's going on  - if you can film her licking the blinds and/or fireplace and take that with you it might be helpful. In the meantime, definitely get some Feliway diffusers going, and try to engage her in interactive playtime a couple of times a day - with the hope that draining some of her energy will decrease her licking behaviour.
