Giving droncit (question)

Today I have to give my cat a single dose of the droncit pill. Does anybody know if I can smash it up and put it in his food?

Well I've used just generic praziquantel (we just had a bout of tapeworms over here cuz somebody  didn't do the flea meds on time....) not name brand Droncit - I crushed a pill up in food but nobody really went for it - maybe it tastes bitter, idk.    I've mixed Strongid paste in canned food and they ate it up.

So doing it in the food didn't work on my guys here - I had to manually pill them.   But it's worth a shot, right?  I always feel horrible when I force a pill down their throat - but it had to be done, since one of the guys had the tapeworm segments coming out his butt
