Just heard from Dr. Newman (veterinarian) about Tony. The culture results from the lab showed a light bacterial infection. He hasn't had any bleeding for the last 2 days, so he said to continue him on the current antibiotic. If it re-occurs he'll give him a different one, but so far he thinks the present one should help. Nothing too serious and we shouldn't be worried (but of course we were). We were worried because of the earlier auto immune problem with his blood. But he's eating like a horse -his appetite won't quit. And he just wants lots and lots of affection. Hope Tony is here to stay for a while to come. In April we thought for sure we'd have to say goodbye to him. I remember getting up in the middle of the night, holding him in my arms and telling him BJ was waiting for him at Rainbow Bridge. I hope BJ will have to wait a good while longer. BJ and Tony adored each other.
