This made me so sad.  I have three little kittens and one of them is not growing.  He is the runt.  I have given him kitten milk, from the vet.  He use to eat, but refuses to eat now.  I am trying so hard to save him.  And yes, he is the cutest little fellow.  The two girls are twice his size.  I am getting so worried about him.

We think they are about 8 weeks old.  I bought some supplement and have squirted the gel into his mouth.  He will eat it.  But he doesn't like it.  He plays and plays some days and some days he just sits.  I'm really worried about him.

Were you told they were 8 weeks or do you know for sure? Maybe they are younger? Have you got the Mummy cat too? The runt of my abandoned litter is gaining but she is on watch as a slow gainer, I was advised to feed her every 2 hours rather than 3 hourly like the rest.
The ladies on this site are fab if you let them know some more details and the kittens weights they will be able to give you some fantastic advice and a feeding plan to get the weight on him. A big bit of advice that I have read often is that they have to be kept warm or cant digest their food properly

Can you post some pictures? If they are really 8 weeks old then they should be getting solid food. Will he eat mush - cat food mashed up with kitten milk to a soupy texture?

The kitten milk from the vet should be good, but I wonder, can you get raw goat milk?  Ie unpasterized goat milk...  It MAY do an difference.    If you are in USA, shops carrying "natural food" have often raw goat milk too...   Bottled goat milk is OK too, but perhaps not better than this kmr you got from your vet.

The gel you mention is prob Nutri-cal?  Yes, its good.

You perhaps must forcefeed him some.  Dont rely if he does fancy to eat...  If he is weekish  he may have lost the will to fight...

Use a needleless syringe... You know how to do it?  Tummy down, head up, in the corner of the mouth, slowly so he manages to swallow.  Burp afterwards...
