Hi Cat Lovers
My cat has been retching for 3 days now. I haven't been home all day but I've only noticed it late in the evening after she has had her dinner. At first nothing was coming out. But yesterday she finally spit out a big hairball, and tonight she spit out the water she had just drank. Then after that she gets quite upset and retreats to her little house box all night. Apart from these episodes, she is eating and drinking normally, her poo is firm, and she's lively and playing sometimes and relaxed most of the time.
She recently had gastroentritis with vomiting and diarrhoea but the vet prescribed special food and she's been fine since. Apart from the retching.
What's causing this and should I be worried?
