Hi, just joined. Sounds cliche but I'm 46, single and love my kitties lol, friends love to rib me, good natured of course, about being their favorite "Crazy Cat Lady" - maybe so, but they make me happy!

I have 4 kitties:

*Shadow, all black and about 6 years old, female, she was my first;

*Morgan, 1 yr 1 mo old, grey tiger with white paws, male, took him in when he was 4 weeks old and abandoned by his mother under a neighbor's house;

*Harley, also 1 yr 1 mo, tan tortoise and a little beauty queen lol, female, got her to keep Morgan company and give Shadow some peace, unfortunately that only worked until he got bigger;

*Jinx, all black long hair with bright green eyes, 1 yr 6 mo, very sweet handsome boy, we took him in as a stray, he was so emaciated you could see his hip bones even through all his fluffy hair.

Jinx is the only one of the three to really bond with my teenage daughter with Asperger's Syndrome, they are best buddies. He is now beautiful and healthy and HUGE, has paws 3x the size of the other cats LOL. I love all 4 to pieces and am happy to find a group that feels the same about theirs

Your cats sound great!! I wish I could have a herd of cats. Does Jinx mingle with the other cats as well as he does people? That's so amazing, to find a cat who bonds. I have Aspergers as well, and when I was little, the family cat was very protective of me. I always thought of her as my second mom, to be honest.

Welcome to TCS!!!

Hi there! Thanks, they really are so wonderful, all four of them. I would love a herd too haha! I want nothing more than to go to the shelter and rescue them all... *sigh*, no can do unfortunately. Jinx is the most unique of the four, he is so laid back, content and happy. He was so close to starving to death (I still can't believe I could see his hip bones through his thick long fur when we found him :((( .. ) that I am surprised he doesn't have feeding issues, like guarding bowls and overeating, but he doesn't. He's so funny, when I feed them they are all gathered around my feet, except him. He lays there and watches, then gets up and moseys on over to his bowl like John Wayne in a saloon LOL!! He gets along with Morgan and Harley (the now-grown kittens) and all three play, but he even manages to get along with the senior Shadow usually. She is far more tolerant of Jinx than the other two lol. He's is usually with my daughter, but he'll come in to see me a couple times a day, 'asks' for a pet or two, then moseys on back into her room again to lay by her. They're so attached to each other, makes me happy to see :)

Thanks for the welcome!

How cute!  I have a picture in my mind about Jinx moseying around like John Wayne.
    Do you have any photos to share?
