flea question

So here's the story I'm about to have a baby in a few says n a month ago at my shower some one graciously gave us fleas along with a gift....to there defense they did tell me they kept the gift tied in a bag in the car to keep the fleas out but unfortunately my baby ate my brain n I didn't remember until it was too late .we sprayed once a week with an insecticide n igr n treated the cats with advantage 2 its almost time to retreat the cats and we are still finding stragglers on the kitties so I'm a little paranoid.we don't have air conditioning and there aren't really any "cool" places in our house will the advantage 2 still be effective after being stored in our house?? Any advice Thanks

I don't know the answer to your question but am bumping it up in hopes that someone else will see it who does.  Best wishes for you and your baby!  Jeeesh.  What a thing to have to deal with when you're expecting a baby.

Is there no toll free number on the package where you can call the manufacturer and talk to them about it? 

BTW, you are a hoot ("the baby ate my brain" had me in stitches  )
