Hi!
First of all I want to thank catwoman707 , StefanZ and Sarthur2 for all their help in april when I was raising Alex, my orphaned kitten who sadly didn't survive past his second week.
But now I'm glad to tell you that I've been raising Lana, another orphaned kitten who turned 3 weeks today and she is doing fine.
I've been studying Chaos' thread by nikkykay which is wonderful and full of detail for every developmental milestone.
But there's something I haven't read in other posts I've checked:
Lana opened fully her eyes last wednesday and they look healthy, but she doesn't use them to see just yet. She isn't blind because she sometimes stares at stuff for a little while, but she doesn't still use them to explore. She still relies on her nose, mouth and paws to find me and her milk.
Is it normal? When do kittens start to actually see and play?
She also can already walk on her legs with her belly off the ground. But still has no interest in playing.
