So I'm not new here, but I have a new cat 
Because my old cat decided that I didn't exist any more when my roommate moved in. And with her yowling and knocking things over when the roommate would be out for the night, my husband, roommate and I decided that it would be best for Sandi to go with Kelly when she went back east for good.
Then the house was just not quite right, so we rescued a year old grey and white kitty who is the bomb and fits in nicely. His name is Mick Jagger
My Aussie ( Axel Rose) is doing AMAZING. Hell follow Jagger around, but not chase, he just wants to sniff his but and lick his face. They ignore, meaning both sit on the couch or the bed together with us, for the most part.
Jagger has slept in bed with us, from night 1, his choice. Tried to eat Axels food, drank from the toilet, VERY vocal, but high pitched like a kitten.
He's settling in nicely, though he is eating and going potty, he's not eating much, Sandi had a good appetite when I brought her home, how long does the eating very little last, talking enough to make it noticeable that he's eating, but not much.
His food, a water dish, and his litter box are in our spare room with a baby gate up to keep Axel out. The food dish and water dish are under the fotuon out of site of the door.
