ive been checking her temp regularly and it's usually around 99-100 from taking it under her armpit I took it today and it was 98.1. She's been walking around all day I was just searching for her she had hidden in a closet she's breathing pretty heavy and she's been trying to lay down but looks a bit uncomfortable she hasn't napped today for more than a few minutes are these signs the kittens will be here soon? I'm so excited for them :) I want to know so I can make sure I call in from work to be there for my fur baby :) I've been feeding her kitten food I have a few nesting boxes around the house and she seems to be interested in one of them please if any one can help me figure out if the time is coming :)))

Unfortunately it's not an exact science.  She could be in pre-labor or early labor.  It could be a couple more days.

Has she lost her mucus plug or have you seen her water break?  It could be a gush or a slow leak.

You sound prepared.  Do you have any Kitten Milk Replacer (KMR)?  It's available at pet stores and Walmart.  We've been recommending the Pet Ag brand in the powder form.  Other brands are ok but stay away from Hartz and Seargents.  You should also have a small needleless syringe, 1-2ml/cc.  Some unflavored pedialyte.   A heating pad or hot water bottle may also come in handy.  A scale is a good way to keep track of the kittens progress.  One that measures in grams or 1/10 ounces.  We have had a few cases where these supplies were needed and were not available.  It makes a stressful situation even more so.  It's best to have them before she gives birth.

Thank you for the advice!!! I'll go to the store to pick up these things. I'm so excited
The poor thing just wants to lay down but I think she's very irritable she'll lay down for a second get up find some where else get up then starts walking around she hasn't eaten much at all today either

It sounds like early labor to me. Do you see her belly rippling in waves?

Here's the tutorial.  If you're on a laptop, it's the button at the top of the reply box that looks like a film strip next to the smile.

Oh okay that's why it won't work it has to be a YouTube video or Vimeo to upload :p but my cat (cheetah) was finally able to take about a 15 min nap then she went to her nesting box for a few minutes now she's back walking around I just notice you had asked about her water breaking no it hasn't yet
