I'm glad I'm not the only one who goes looking for advice because they feel a bit overwhelmed! I'm very limited in resources so sadly I can't do as much for the cats as I wish I could and I live in a smallish, semi-agricultural area so there aren't any cat charities that I can find operating in this area that might help. But this website has been very helpful to me because it sort of feels like a support system, even if it's just reading about other people going through similar things. By the way, your avatar picture is adorable! Thanks to everyone welcoming me!
and I totally feel you about the lack of resources! The "town" my parents live in is unincorporated, so there's not much help for the feral colonies. Of course my parents would spay and neuter if they had the resources and I feel so bad about letting the colony grow. At least I got the two females of this litter so that takes two potential mamas out of the mix!
