Sexing a stray

Hi, this cat has been in the area for several weeks and no one in the neighborhood seems to know where it came from. I'm having a hard time sexing it.. If it's a neutered male or female.
If he's neutered, it must have been young because he's fuzzy back there but there's no obvious scrotum. Everything seems far apart to be a female though.

Any help is appreciated!

It does appear to be a male.

Females have their female part right close under their butt, which this one doesn't appear to have.

There is a puff of fur right under his butt though that looks like a coffee bean shape, not sure if it's just fur or not, I'm guessing just fur.

Can you feel anything right under her butt at all?

Or any sign of a once scrotum?

I think it's a little puff of fur. He fidgets whenever I try to check (who can blame him). The cat is so fuzzy back there. What looks like could be a scrotum is smaller than a pea but he wiggles away to head but me whenever I try to see if its just a fur puff.

If it is indeed a male he must have been neutered very young.

It does appear to be a male to me. You can also watch when he pees in the box, if you are at a side view, a girl's pee comes from right under her tail, but of course a males is lower. If he is a sitter to pee then that won't help!

I've tried watching him pee and whenever he catches me looking at him in the liitterbox, he turns and looks me directly in the eye.. Almost disapprovingly.

Very nice cat, but seems to like to keep some things private, lol
