Hi everyone. I just wanted to share a little experience I've had in order to maybe help someone else that has a cat with food allergies.
My cat Autumn has food allergies. She was scratching her ears so badly, that they were raw with sores and nearly bald. I tried numerous grain free foods including science diet d/d formula. I have 6 cats and it was not fun finding a food all of them would eat and would make Autumn have an allergic reaction to.
I finally found Fromm foods. They have a surf and turf food that is grain free. I tried numerous formulas from Fromm, and she did better with them, but after 3 weeks on the surf and turf formula, she cleared up and all of her fur grew back.
All of our cats are doing great on the food. Whenever I take them to the vet, everyone there comments on how healthy they look and how soft their fur is.
I hope this helps. I'll be happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability.

I was wondering if you have found out exactly what Autumn is allergic too? I have some cats who seem to have issues with just about every food out there.

Glad you have found something that works for your kitty.

snugglecat snugglecat we never found out for sure what shes allergic to. I don't believe it's just grains, because we've tried just about every kind of grain free food there is.

I found that she cleared up in just a few weeks when she had the surf and turf. Then we tried other grain free brands and within a day she would be back to itching .

I was stupid and gave her one tiny piece of meow mix that came as a sample pack in kitty litter. That night her itching started all over again. Each time she has something she shouldn't have, it takes about 3 weeks for her to heal up again.

Some of my cats liked the wild game flavor from Fromm, some didnt. Because it was so hard to get them all to eat it, I just went back to the surf and turf.

Hope this helps.
