The vet tech that was working with Funny Face in boarding decided to take him home to help socialize him there. Though his purr motor was already going, he would come out and play with any of the boarding area workers - and he accepted a bath without complaint! He'd start purring just by being picked up. Guess he decided no one was trying to hurt him, and being loved was a good thing.

She decided to take him home to socialize him there - and in the end, has decided to keep him!!!!! She says he is such a love, he's a total lap cat - and though still scared, and working out his relationship with her other cats, etc., he IS like a cuddly koala bear!

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR FUNNY FACE!!!!!!!

Laurie, that's fantastic news. I'm so glad Funny Face has found someone to love him for ever.

But it means another heartwrenching farewell for you does it not?

Thanks so much for all the pep! I've been rather teary lately. Funny Face wasn't socialized enough for us to pet him, although he would let Gary get near him, and held "conversations" with him.

I'm so happy he's happy - and so quickly! But every once in a while we find ourselves wishing we had enough room for them all.....
