She is likely not done birthing, which is why she is so preoccupied with herself rather than caring for her babies.

She now has 5 kittens! I'm sure she is done because she is she is sleeping her babies. Her nipples aren't so plump anymore and it doesn't seem like there's any milk coming out. They are trying to find nipples though and she's letting them now.

You can help the kittens find nipples if mama doesn't mind.
Yes, put the kittens up to mama's nipples. They need to nurse and it helps the milk come in. They will be getting colostrum the first day or two.

Hello a again! Brooks has been bleeding from her area a lot! It was a few drops but it's gotten more than just drops. As you know she just has her babies. Is this normal? She's also exhausted. She greets us at the door when we come home but she meows and has to lay down and few more steps and lay. She use to be so active. Even when she was pregnant. Is this normal?
I think she may need to see a vet. How much is she actually bleeding? A teaspoon, tablespoon?

No, this is not normal to be bleeding and exhausted. Take her to a vet or emergency vet right away!

Leave the kittens at home. They will be okay for a couple of hours. Pick up KMR and a 1 mL syringe asap and be prepared to hand feed. Will give instructions on feeding soon.
Please update us on your cat. Some spotting after birthing is normal, but her fatigue and bleeding are indicative of a serious problem!

Truthfully I'm sixteen and Brooks is technically my cat. My mom said we can't take her because we can't afford it. Will she live if we don't go? I'm so worried. I'm keep trying to talk her into it of course.

She is eating. And her bleeding is off and on.

I am concerned that she is bleeding to this extent and exhibiting symtoms of anemia. Her kittens were born 3 days ago. This is not normal. Can you get a payment plan at the vet?

i asked my mom if we can take her in the day she gets payed and she said yes. Which is the bargaining of next month .
