Diesel, the white demon and his best (dog) friend

Poison has a "brother", Diesel. Diesel is deaf, always has been and nobody wanted him sooooo... he ended up here. He is an indoor cat.

He's four years old. He is very playful and a real heart with fur and paws. Since he first came home, he's been best friend with a dog, and very cute to watch.

@kntrygrl256, I've ssen you said that he ressemble your cat Ghost, I made a research and learned that he passed away, I'm very sorry for your loss, I know how hard losing our furbabies is.

Poison is not the dog, he's my other cat (the one on my profile picture).

As for the pictures, I have no special talent lol, a white cat is pretty easy to photograph and mine is so easy because he's deaf so he doesn't hear me getting through my stuff to get the camera.

I only use a few tips:
1- try to always shoot from the animal's level. It makes better pics most of the time

2- don't make a point for the animal to look directly at the camera, it's often better when they look slightly or completly to the right, left, above... (a treat or a toy might help )

3- don't be shy and play with natural light, shadows... and don't be scare to use black and white, it can reveal a pic

4- try try and try again

I'd heard that deaf, all-white cats have blue eyes but he has those beautiful amber eyes, he really is special looking.

@Norachan, haha: As a kitten Diesel "attacked" the poor dog restlessly. Of course, he was only playing but he was lucky that dog is a such gentle and patient soul.
Their friendship never ended, even if they are just sleeping together or grooming each other now.

Since we got him, we've met other white cats, some with blue eyes, some not. Most of them heard perfectly. I think, if a kitten is born white, he will have some chances to be deaf. I guess he's just one of the "un-lucky" ones... Oh well, we don't care, he's perfect the way he is
