Love all the new pictures!!

I have gotten out of the coloring phase.

I know I will get back in..

I am getting tired of my 3 books! You would think I wouldn't because I have not done much in them!! But I am...Noting seems to 'hit' me first now.

I know when the snow and really cold weather occurs, I will be spending more time indoors and will be bored.

I can picture the scene:  me sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of tea, coloring away; with a  candle lit ~~ for the scent, the overhead lights on, classical music softly playing, snow falling....Yes, my type of heaven...

Artie will be sleeping on the chair next to me.....

time will stand still for a bit.

that is until the power goes off!! The it will e by candle and flash lights!!

Loving the scene @Artiemom, or at least I did before the power went off.
Yes, power, and a nice souce of warmth would be good, then I would happily be sitting in a similar scene here.  No candles though, I can't relax with candles lit when there's a Mouse about my house.

Oooo I love that scene as well!  Shall be following that, I expect!  Two more weeks, clocks go back, and it will be dark by 6 PM here.

Loving the tortoise design!  :D    I wonder why they made them all look so sad though?   :bawling:

I've been busy colouring, just not busy photographing.
Have you ever seen a laughing tortoise? My daughter has a video on her phone of a kitten riding a tortoise.

I don't know how to send videos. Maybe you can YouTube or Google it. The things that become verbs nowadays. Lol.
I'll be in Birmingham on the 23rd.
I just Google kitten riding tortoise and I got it. .Enjoy.

Nice, so colorful!  I find I am learning much about colors, contrasts, I even pulled up a color wheel on line at one point.  I love the way you combined colors in this one.

Here is a pic I did this morning with colored pencils.

I love to color, but I prefer to paint, so I am adding a painting I did eons ago back in 1981. It is a portrait of my Mom's Himalayan, Meerschaum when he was a kitten. He was  a seal point, but the full depth of his color hadn't come out yet. This was done in pencil and water color.

Lovely fishes @LTS3      I find some of the books do have similar images, esp done by the same artist / designer and in the same series.   In some ways I like that and in others it feels a bit like an easy option for them, but I guess if you enjoyed what was in the first one then similar work is what they think is wanted?  I bought a couple of books in the same series but now am tending to go for different ones so there is more variety to choose from.

@catlover19   There's a lovely restfulness about the simplicity of the flower,
and when you do those large, plain areas you realize how hard they are to get a god, even coverage and keep to the long smooth edges too.   I found myself looking at the kids colouring pads in the supermarket the other day and the only thing that stopped me getting one (good prices) was me reminding myself I have enough colouring books to last me at least a year and wallet contents that won't last the month.

I have a couple of coloring books now. I'll grab one depending on what I feel like coloring that day (Creative Cats? Maybe something ocean themed? A simple image of circles?).
