So my cat got 10 teeth extracted today and is fine with grazing his food whenever he's hungry (doesn't overeat/healthy weight probably about 2 cups of dry food per 24 hrs) and got half a can of wet food for dinner.
My question is if there's a softer alternative to dry kibble that could be left in his bowl so he could eat when he wants. Fresh or canned food sitting out for hours isn't good for me so it's a pretty good assumption it's not good for him either. I've never noticed a 'soft' dry food on store shelves before sooo...yeah. Anyone have suggestions?
