I have been working for a little over two weeks to befriend a very timid stray, I call her a stray because she came to me about two days ago and rubbed my leg and then played very close to my feet and rolled around on the ground some. When I did reach my hand out she smelled me but didn't offer to let me pet her. From the behavior I saw I believe she knows human interaction and was dumped. Problem is she isnt near my house, actually a park in the middle of town. I'm trying to gain her trust enough to maybe trap her and take her home with me, even if she stayed outside at least she would have steady food and water. I take food with me to the park almost daily to feed her, early last week she had two kittens with her who I'm unable to get near. I haven't seen them in about a week now. There was a third kitten who I did manage to catch during a bad rainstorm and he now lives comfortably in my home. What can I do more for momma and the other two kittens though?? I hate seeing them struggle.

I did contact a local TNR group who said they would attempt to TNR mom and the two kittens, they have no room to foster either of the three.

Can you foster them yourself, with the help of the TNR group to trap Mama and babies?

Yes, neutering would be a big step towards allowing them a better life, even if you end up releasing them back to where they are.  The second step would be to foster as many as you can at your home.  Do you have a good place at your house that you could dedicate to them?  Inside, preferably but a garage or outdoor room would work also.

I don't have anywhere specific but i wouldn't mind them being in the house. Cou p.s. temporarily use my back bedroom until they became used to the house

Wonderful!  Rescuing strays and ferals is extremely rewarding but can also be time consuming and expensive.  I rescued a mother and two kittens myself from underneath a neighbors house last May.  They are currently indoor/outdoor.

So you think this little stray is the mom of the two other kittens?  If that is the case, and I'm thinking she probably is, can you tell how old the kittens might be?  There are some illustrations online on the growth progress of kittens if you google.  The key to the kittens accepting you is their mom accepting you as an ally.   Once you gain her trust she will tell the kittens they can trust you too.  Much of how you progress with them will depend on their age.

Now, once you remove these cats from the park you must understand that you are making a commitment to them.  You can, as we discussed, have them neutered and spayed and return them to the park.  But if you decide to take them you will need to find suitable accommodations for them or keep them yourself.  It is never a good idea to remove strays from a territory they are comfortable in only to set them loose somewhere else.  They will need to remain confined for at least 3-4 weeks.  After that time, they should begin to feel that your home has become their home.  Ideally, cats live longer and are healthier when they live indoors, however, some cats that have lived outside for a good amount of time actually prefer living outdoors.  You will have to be the judge on their placement with you.  If you end up moving some of them out of doors you will need to provide some type of outdoor shelter from rain and cold.

Please be sure you've thought things through before moving them.  The sooner you have them altered, the better off they will be.  We would love for you to post here on your progress.

Yes I do believe her to be the momma of the two kittens, I tried to guess an age when I got the kitten that I already have although I'm not great at it. At first I thought maybe somewhere between 10-12 weeks, this was right before July 4th. I have another thread with pictures of the kitten I do have in another post, the mom aswell. Its in the describing my cat section, thread about Osiris (dont remember exact title) I have put a lot of thought into bringing home mom and the other kittens and I have no problems putting in the effort and time to care for them. I will be going in just a few minutes to see if I can find them in their usual spot, taking along some food.

I just went to your other thread and I'd say you were probably right at 10-12 weeks so the sooner you can trap them the easier your job will be to try to socialize to humans.  Since you've already got one of the litter mates and he is adjusting nicely to you that will help you too.  I've noticed there is something to monkey see, monkey do with cats in general.  When I moved my cats inside, I put a big 10 x 12 tarp over my carpeting since I wasn't sure how quickly the kittens and mother would take to the litter box.  I was very happy I did that since they made quite the mess.  The water bowl was dumped many times as they played.  They are all well trained now.

It is always very exciting and heartwarming to know of some more wayward cats coming in off the difficult street life.  You are an angel for them.  Tell those TNR people to get out there now!

Well mom and kittens aren't in their usual spot, tnr group has them right now. The kitten I do have took to the litter box really fast. Less than an hour actually. I have major surgery this Tuesday but will continue my efforts with mom and the two kittens. Iv added a pic of mom with the two kittens.

Oh my...major surgery!  Hope all goes well.  Will the tnr group keep them until you recover?

As far as I know they still have them, I'm kind of hopen that maybe they had room to take them in to socialize and adopt.
