Cat Netsuke

I was given this lovely piece for Christmas this year, it's called Cat in Robe.

COOL! That is so neat! Hubby and I've been looked at orientalia lately. He likes oriental designs.

I just love this piece, I think it may be the next direction I go in re collecting I have a fair number of Harmony Kingdom pieces, most of the cat ones, which are reminiscent of netsuke, but I'd love some authentic netsuke. This little piece feels so nice to hold too.

Though this piece isn't authentic, I just love it. The friend who sent this always finds me the most interesting cat theme gifts. Heh heh heh...I got a big jump on her presents for 2004 with the neat stuff I bought post-Christmas this year, including a crystal piece that has a design laser cut inside...3 dimensional it features a kitten playing, it is soooo cool.

Thanks Pat & Alix , they both doing fine . I really have to post in their thread about them I guess , so every body knows what is going on with them and how they are doing .

I believe it's made out of resin, though it has a delightful wood look
