Greetings everyone!

What are your favourite instruments to listen to?

I enjoy the sound of the violin, piano, flute, cello and harp. And an honourable mention to a solid and skilled classical guitar player!

Viols, lute, violin (baroque/earlier or folk style - hate the wide constant vibrato so often used with later stuff), baroque/renaissance/folk (ie-wooden) flute...you get the idea ;)

Love piano because you can play complete songs on it, French horn because it sounds so other-worldly, trumpet because it's so bright and usually has the main melodies, and Japanese taiko because they are exciting. REALLY dislike bagpipes, no offence to anyone, but is that really music?

DH plays guitar (mainly classical and flamenco) as well as piano, and I enjoy listening to both. I also like the sound of saxophones.
