Hi, I'm new here and I have read lots of similar posts and really sorry for this one being so similar but I am really unsure when my beautiful queenie is due as she is huge. She is an indoor cat and a stray tom got in when I was on holiday and 8plus weeks later here I am. I have also followed links and read a lot of advice. I am getting her spayed once kittens are 8 weeks so this can't happen again.

Your Queenie is so beautiful. The help you will receive here is the best. Ask anything you are unsure of. I enjoy following everyone's experiences and as handsome kitty handsome kitty said they are all very unique as they go along.

I'm really anxious that she is not coping well with the hot weather, she is sleeping most the time, her teats are very pronounced but I can't see any milk being produced by them. Do all cats leak milk before birth?

Welcome! Looks like we are in the same waiting game boat with our tuxedo Queens! We are expecting kittens any day now too. Not all Queens produce milk before the birth; our previous 2 fosters didn't have any until after the birth. Let the baby countdown begin! Wonder who will go first? :)

I tried a fan but it scares her a little, I keep the window open and she often lays with her head out of it. I set up 2 birthing places in the room but they are just too warm.

Pregnant cats sleep alot, but do you have any room with a window A/C to put her in?

She has become a lot less affectionate in the last few hours, I have read that up to the birth that they are often a lot more affectionate. I boiled a chicken breast for her, usually she eats it all but is having just 1 or 2 pieces every hour or so

Not as bad now its night time, I found a cooler spot for her to have the kittens as well, so now she has 3 places to choose from but no doubt she will find a different place. I really hope that tonight's the night. Thanks for the earlier link, it was helpful
