Hi guys, I'm new to this so I really hope I get some answers! We just adopted a kitten, we were told he is 8 weeks but we actually believe he is around 6 weeks. Anywho, we allowed the two to paw at each other under the door for a day, get used to scents, etc. all that said, they actually did pretty well. Our eldest (Ollie) did not show signs of aggression, no puffy tail, no hissing. We kept the kitten (Tucker) in the cat carrier and allowed Ollie to enter the room. Still good! No hissing, no aggressive behavior. Just curiosity. So we allowed the kitten to come out. They seemed to paw each other and then the kitten would lay down on his back with his arms up as if to surrender. Then he would run from Ollie. once this happened, Ollie would chase him, pin him down, and bite his neck. I don't know what to do at this point. The kitten doesn't seem like he's scared, after we separate them the kitten wants to still go out and see Ollie, and Ollie cries. I'm nervous because I don't know if Ollie is biting the kitten harder than I think. I don't want anything to happen to the little guy need answers/advice!!
