today, when i was feeding my kitten, i noticed his belly became so round and full. I first thought he was full from milk...but, i tried to stimulate him after sounds came from his tummy, all the way from his upper stomach to his lower part, Almost immediately, his tummy exploded with long lines of poop. more sounds came, and after an hour of struggle against Hunter (former name Jeff) he somehow let a small portion get down. But...thats when it gets worse... the more he struggles, the harder it gets...and we realized blood slightly showing from his rear end. Hunter did not hesitate to stop me, scratching and attacking recklessly with his claws. I don't know how to help him get everything out! He refused to drink olive oil, and his tummy is still like a preg cat.

If Hunter doesn't get it all out of his system, i am afraid, he will die...

PLZ if you know any method that could help him to get 'diarrhea' its prob the only way to solve it. cz he cant defecate on his own, only can pee on his own.

Hi there, this seems like an emergency. This much constipation, especially in a kitten, requires urgent veterinary care. Please take your cat to a vet asap. In the meantime, give Hunter wet food if he can eat it. No kibble. You can also massage his belly gently to get things moving.

Let us know how things go!

No vets at this time of night! it's 1 past midnight!!!! I will try olive oil again, and help stimulate gently..idk how it'll end..

he hasn't began wet food yet, and all stores are closed even if i want to get now :(

I tired placing him in his litter box, but nothing happened..

idk what else to do!

He was shivering like he was having a trama! I covered him, but when he first pooped, he shivered the same way. I think, it's because of whats happening in his system..

i feed him about 10ml of water, he's running walking and idk what on the balcony where he is secure from climbing or being followed by my dog.

gave him another small amount of water(after approx 30mins)  Tonight is going to be long.. :(

what other means can I try until the markets open in the next 5 hours? Hunter sure is in pain whenever he is in his little box.

i tried to stimulate him, but again nothing (still he looks full)

I will head to nearest solution, pharmacy. I read the medicines prescribed, what do i tell the pharmacy person, i thought of laxative, but i read somewhere to not use it :/

any other means?I really can't go to a vet, they are so far, and i am at work most of the day. Which is why i need solutions that can be obtained by either net, pharmacies, stores, or whatever is a lets say home made solution? o_O (like the use of fibers for example to prevent constipation. My only prob, is how to feed it to my little one without having so much scratches

Okay, hunter just went to sleep, and i will to. Ganna check back in the morning (in few hours)

Thanks in advance, everyone :)

The cutest part, is when he pulls his hand up to your face, moving it about you cheeks. (until it gets in your eyes xD painful. those claws need triming xD)

Goodnight everyones. Best wishes ;) thnx again :)

He very well may need an enema to help clear this up.

I have not done one at home myself, but it can be done carefully.

@Catwoman707 @StefanZ I believe one of you has talked someone through this before?

kitty pooped little after that, i took him to another vet. he said hunter was fine, and its normal cz they dont go everyday. But he did nothing aside that. Yes, I'm starting to doubt who made them vets. :3

anyhow, got kitty some meds to help his tummy get out. :)
