REST IN PEACE JESSY X

Had to put my 15 year old jessy to sleep yesterday had pneumonia I'm definitely hurting and heartbroken. Anyone got any advise to help me grieve

I'm so sorry.  I don't have any advice.  It just hurts to lose these little babies who we love so much.  My thoughts are with you.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Sometimes it helps to write down the good memories of little quirks, etc., that made your cat special, for instance as a Cat Page.

Your baby will always love you and appreciate you. Her sprit will always follow you. I don't know if you are a religious person, but if you are pray. Pray that you where thankful to have her in your life and that you hope to see her again someday. Pray that wherever your sweet heart is that she is safe and at peace.

As someone else suggested; writing done your feelings and thoughts may help you cope. Try to stir away from the negatives of Jessy's life; think about the positives. I'm sure she had a good life with you and loved you very much. Please take care of yourself and may God grant you peace & healing at this time.

I'm so sorry for the loss to your family, the heartache it creates is something that only time will soften. I have found that you have to keep busy and not dwell on the sadness, all those should haves and could haves do nothing but create more heartache. Your precious baby would never want you to be so sad when remembering the life you two shared, instead rely on your precious memories to bring you comfort and to celebrate the wonderful love and the 15 years you spent together. When they leave us the emptiness it creates in our lives is unbelievable, but even the strongest heart will someday rest and we must go on with our lives as they would want us to do, to carry on their legacy of love and to keep their memory alive in our hearts. It hurts, because we loved so much it is so difficult to go on, but there will come a day when the sun will shine again and you will smile at your memories instead of breaking down in tears. For many that day may be a long time coming, so try to surround yourself with people who understand your grief and who will share the burden. Your pain will lessen if you allow it to drain from your soul, don't be afraid to mourn your loss and to cry when needed. My heart goes out to you, I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. RIP sweet Jessy!

Let yourself grieve...putting pictures up, particularly happy ones of your little Jessy can help a little. Eventually it may help you think of only the happy times and not the end. I hope you feel better.
