Wide Open Mouths - Picture of the Month July 2015

Wide open mouths, that's our theme for this month. Are they smiling or  yawning? It's hard to tell in a photo, so take your pick at the interpretation and show us those pink mouths!

Partially opened mouths will be accepted but we want to see some open mouth at least.

Our two sponsors this month's contest - 
Again, this month's winner will be getting prizes by both sponsors! 
And an assortment of Bravo all-natural cat treats

Prizes can be shipped within the US only but please don't let that stop you from joining in the fun! If you win, I'm sure we can think of a US-based shelter you can donate the prize to (or even to another TCS member!). The same goes for those of you whose kitties have food sensitivities.

Submissions will be accepted through Sunday, July 19th. 

The Rules:

1. Choose the best picture you have for our monthly theme and post it to this thread. Please mention the cat's name!
    
2. Image needs to be clear and not too small. 480 pixels high by 640 pixels wide minimum  but larger is better.
3. One submission per member please 
   

Photos will not be monitored during the contest. If your photo is found to be too small or unclear, it will not be included in the voting stage without prior notice.

Our cats are ALL amazingly beautiful! This friendly photo contest is about the way in which the cat is captured in the picture. We're not looking for professional photography, but do try to keep things like image quality, lighting and composition in mind.

every time I see yawning cat photos, I always "hear" them screaming in my head, LOL. I'm going to sit this one out since I won the last picture competition

Post anyway Draco I love your pictures. If you're determined to sit it out, make the size too small to qualify

My cats LOVED the Spring Naturals food! I was surprised because they are usually picky about food that's new to them, especially for Cassie. The food is kind of chunky, not Paté.

Monet loves the treats too. Cassie not so much, but again, she's picky when it comes to food that's new to her, lol.

This is Fleur at about 5 weeks old.

This is one of my favorite pix of Cocoabean. Sweetest cat in the world and somehow I manged to catch her in a moment of pure RAWR

here's an old picture of a foster litter we had a few years ago.. we didn't keep any of these kittens but we called the one with her mouth open Saffron.

It takes a wonderful kind of person to foster! I don't know if I could do it knowing I won't get to keep the kitties! Very adorable!
