If you HAD to pick, would you say your parents were more like Ward and June Cleaver, Tim and Jill Taylor, Mike and Carol Brady or Roseanne and Dan Conner?

If I have to pick from those I will say Mike and Carol Brady.  But only because i grew up in a blended family with a bunch of step-siblings.  I have none of my own.  We didn't get along so great back then.  And we sure didn't have an Alice!!

None of the above (sorry). I can't even begin to describe what it was like living at home sometimes.

Ward and June Cleaver. On the surface. Reality something else entirely.

If I HAD to pick one, Ward and June Cleaver, mostly because my Mom and Dad who have passed
had the same kind of values and respect of others that my parents had.  We had bad times, fights, etc. problems and my mother was most in charge, but I really do appreciate their values.  My dad was unlike Ward because he worked hard all day as a mechanic and part-time on a dairy farm.  My mother used to take her laundry very seriously, too.  Ironing everything and brushing lint out of the corners of dress-shirts,
and gradually all that  got less and less when polyester became popular!
However, I guess all the rest of the stuff in Leave It To Beaver was very sterilized, even their problems, and never hit on any heartache that really goes on no matter what decade we live in!  I would still be open to seeing the re-runs!!!

I was not raised by both parents living in the same house. Early on, I decided to love them both. None of these listed describe my parents either. They were special in their own ways, unlike any other parents I can name. :lol3:

I think the closest might be Tim & Jill. My dad has always been a fix it, handy man type, usually working on or building something in his shop out back,  & always "trying as dad's do, to be funny."  LOL!

My mom although she always worked, she was the housewife, & where we got our spiritual foundation, going to church every Sunday & Wednesday.

My parents were not even close to any of them.  If I had to pick I would pick June and Ward Cleaver with Wally as a big brother.
