My ex-husband attempts to feed Crimmie while I'm at work.  I came home today and saw her cap on the floor.  I took her dressing off and replaced it right away.  He fed her at 130pm, I got home at 330pm.  Not sure when it came off.  I gave her sub q fluids right away and am holding her feeding for a little bit, just to make sure is she is full of air, she has a chance to get rid of some.  Anyone have this happen?

I see you didn't get any responses to this.  Anything untoward happen at the next feeding?

No, I was able to get 160 ml into her for the day!  I fed her this morning and went to work.  My ex came to feed her at 930, said she was hiding under my bed and was not cooperating at all.  He was able to get 20 ml in her. I came home from work and noticed the gauze bandage under her outer vetrap was all torn up...like she had been scratching at it.  So I removed all the bandages and found this:

I called the vet.  He said to cut the sutures and remove the tube :(  Hopefully she will start to eat on her own.  I have an appointment for Thursday to have another tube placed on the other side of her neck, but I have no idea how I'm going to pay for it.  I'm $1200 in the hole with care credit and a credit card for all of this already and they are both maxed out.  I'm so upset.  She has been through so much, out up with so much.  Now this set back.  My poor sweetie :(

:eek:hno: I"m so sorry you've had this setback. I was hopeful that Crimmie was doing alright with the feeding tube.
