I would buy different brands for variety.  The Fancy Feast Classic is good but I'm not sure they have a 'kitten' variety.

Earlier on another thread, it said not to get the Hartz KMR so if you do get some KMR, don't get that brand![emoji]128515[/emoji]

Fancy Feast makes a turkey and a fish kitten food. Fancy Feast is a very good brand to use as protein is the first ingredient in all their wet foods.

She is due between July 23-30.

Pre-mixed is good for 72 hours. If you mix the powder it will stay good covered for 24 hours. Give her a small dish to drink per day - about one-third cup or so.

Powdered is better. If you bought pre-mixed you need to dilute it with water. It's very thick. Some cats will not drink it.

You can mix a little with the wet food and try pouring a tiny bit on the dry - start w/a small dish just in case whe won't eat it.

You just need to buy a can of the powder. Problem solved. The kittens will drink it eventully too. The pre-mixed is gross.

Can you put up a picture? That will help us see if it looks infected or irritated from licking.

How is she acting? Is the area red looking?

It may just be from all the licking she is doing due to the hormonal changes. You can rub some olive or vegetable oil on it to help with the chapping. Let us know if anything changes!
