Cat stool color

My cat has IBD so we run into some loose stool a lot I have him in meds and probiotics and his stool has been much better in form but is still that diarrhea color. Is this normal?

I'm sorry no one has responded to your thread before now.   I had two cats with IBD but never noticed a particular problem with the color of their stool.  Here's a thread about improving stool in IBD cats:  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/300881/ibd-cat-stool-problems, though I realize you're talking more about color than consistency.

How is your kitty doing now? 

I have a kitty who was almost diagnosed with IBD, but we control it with diet and a probiotic high in Omega-3s.  However, if he eats the wrong thing, we end up with the loose stools.  I've noticed that poop color is related to food.  He eats a diet different from what my other kitties eat and his poop is a different color.
