Hey guys. Mew user on this site :)
My little kitten El Tigre has been having reoccuring eye problems for the past few months. He's 5 months old and over the past 2 months his thirs eyelid always seems to be stuck like halfway across his eye. I've taken him to the vet and they've given me eyedrops. At first it was only in the eight eye, the second time it was in the same eye but apparently both his eyes needed the drops and now its shown up in his left eye and his eye is very watery too.
Can someone help me? Everytime I go to the vet they never give me a straight answer ans I'm sick of spening 80 dollars a visit.
Cheers:)

What do that say is wrong when you go to the Vet?  Is it the same thing every time?  I certainly don't blame you for not just wanting to keep paying and not getting a good response.

I think I would try going to a different Vet, taking the medical records with me.

They always say "it could be a range of different things" but the past two times they said he has conjunctivitis but never actually told me what has caused it or why it keeps coming up

Conjunctivitis can be caused by any number of things, but most commonly it's brought on by Feline Herpes Virus.  Has he ever mentioned that?  But more importantly, has he tested for WHAT is casing it, because treating it and trying find out the cause are two different things.  A good Vet will try to find out the underlying cause.  It could be from allergies (grass, pollen, carpet dye, etc.)

You might try giving him L-Lysine.  This is something that cannot harm him, and most cats who have Feline Herpes find relief by taking it.  Here is just one of MANY threads on L-Lysine:  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/274400/human-grade-lysine
