Good morning!
 And Happy Friday!

I watched a little of House Hunters Tiny Houses last night on HGTV. Have to say....no way could I live in something that small. I'd have claustrophobia just visiting somebody, I would think. They're really tiny. Six cats? No way! Even if it was just me alone, I couldn't handle it. I don't know, maybe I just have too much stuff! Those houses don't do a thing for me, but they seem to be the new thing in houses.

Could you live in a house that small? Would you?

I don't think I would like living in a house that small.  Of course if I had to I would make do.  Since it's usually just me now I wouldn't want a large house like I had when the kids were still at home but I wouldn't want to go that small either.

By choice I wouldn't want to go that small might as well live in a RV. I'd do it if it was a necessary it's better than homeless I guess. I know my kids and cats would both hate it. My trailer house is small as is and its 1200 sq ft.

I don't think I could. I have too much stuff. Add DD, 3 cats and a dog into the mix and we'd be tripping on each other. No thanks. If it was that or nothing I could but it wouldn't be something I'd look into doing just for the heck of it.

Alone, yes. I lived in a very small studio in NYC for many years.  To it's credit, while very small and the kitchen was minimal at best, it did have fantastic closets.

With another person? Never. I have too much need for personal space, as does my BF. It makes me crazy having someone looking over me all the time, which would certainly happen.  Let alone no privacy for personal needs.  The smallest space I've lived in with someone else was about 600 sf and even that, was a bit too close for comfort at times.

I've seen those tiny houses before too and no I could not live in anything that small.  I like to move around and like lots of space.

Most people live in these tiny house because they are much cheaper to live in.

My trailer is 12X60, I don't know the sq. footage tho.  It's a two bedroom.

Yes, I could do that. I lived on a house boat for a few years when I was a kid and then on a converted bus for a summer when I was a teenager. It's cosy. Lack of space inside a house doesn't bother me as much as lack of space outside. I could quite happily live in a shoe box as long as there's a huge back yard.
