This is my first ever pet fountain, so I wanted to be sure..
Yesterday I purchased and set up the drinkwell original pet fountain for my two cats, Boots and Socks. Boots has been sick, and seems to be going toward running water, so it looked like a good time to introduce them to a fountain.
Boots loves it. He drank a lot of water and dipped his paws in it throughout the evening and night. Socks has checked it out and is getting used to the idea.
My question: Is it normal for bubbles to accumulate on the water's surface? Does it have to do with the aeration and flow of the water? I noticed there were a couple of groups of bubbles on the water's surface this morning, and just wanted to be sure. I removed them before getting ready to work, and they came back before I headed out.
Any kind of tip or insight is helpful! As always, thank you!
