Yes temporary insanity.

I haven't met any man that would rather have a cat and that's ok with me. I know they are out there but after this last fiasco I would rather just hang with my kiddo's and cats. Also I will be getting a couple rats for my b/day next month!!!
Rats? ??????

Yes I put up with his dogs. I don't dislike dogs, I just don't care for them. Neither of my cats liked my roommate so I guess it they had a mutual dislike for each other.

Yes, rats. I have become very interested in them and have decided that I want a couple. My sister and her daughter both have them and they are awesome and VERY smart.

If introduced correctly cats and rats make good friends. There are many houses where they live very well together. I have been reading about them. I want to make sure I have all the necessary information before I get them.

As for Zander, last night when I got home from work I had to don't some work outside so I came straight in and got busy. She was not happy
She followed me every  time I was inside mewing wanting me to pick her up. When I finally finished and was ready to settle down for the night, she stopped right in front of me and wouldn't move until I picked her up. She laid her head on my chest and just purred. I felt so bad I had to make her wait but she got extra loving and attention for her patience.

I want her NOW please, pretty please.

I had a large dog with two cats. There was so much love between the dog and one of the cats.

Oh!!!! My!!!!! The kitty death rays at work!!!! Seriously, Mazie, people who think cats can't mimic our facial expressions have never had a cat. And Zander is especially expressive!!!!!

LOL, you are absolutely right about the facial expressions! Because of the fact that cats are so expressive in their mannerisms, we cat parents have an easier time "figuring our cats out" than understanding a dog. I've been a dog owner in the past, and cats have much more "personality" than a dog.

View media item 326360   Zander sure is one class act!   That 'look' is brilliant.
I hope she keeps her jealously contained to evil glares and doesn't act on those death-ray wishes.
    What a character she is.

LOL, oh that look!! For some reason, cats are so much more expressive in their face than dogs. Anyone agree?
As someone raised with dogs (boxers), I always thought dogs had very expressive faces and that cats always looked the same.  Ha ha!
I've certainly learned differently since having cats!
