wow! maybe she belongs with those topless activists, who always demonstrate for feminism and women's rights? (although, all they want to do is just draw attention on them - I don't think they've caused too much improvement in anything..)

Ok well after Little Miss Zander streaking around the house and wanting to play after I got home from work I finally got a couple of decent pictures of the little princess.....

I am so happy how well she is doing now. So here she is......

Yes it's still a little large but it's possible it may stay that way. It don't seem to be causing her any trouble. She will bump my hand with it when she wants to be loved. I will be taking her back to the vet next week to be wormed and to have him check.

The side that was damaged seems to be closed up but it don't bother her. She is breathing well and terrorizes poor Sammy and of course myself when I get home from work. She has to have her attention. She is eating like a little piglet and getting bigger and bigger. I am so happy for her and can't believe this is the same baby from just a few weeks ago who didn't want to eat or even be messed with.

So happy to hear little Miss Zander is "streaking around the house".  That is a sure sign that she is feeling better.

Congratulations @kntrygrl256  and to your DD too!  I've just caught up with this entire thread.  Thank goodness for your puppy and the barking.  What a wonderful find and it's so good to see the progress Xander has made since you found him.

Could you give him an alternative hidey hole to under the freezer?  Perhaps a low box with something soft in it like and old towel or jumper?

Looking forward to more updates!

If I can get her still long enough I want to take a good clear picture of her. It's not easy keeping her still to do much besides eat and then she moves all the time around her plate. LOL

I think the vet took out the larvae and put in a jumping bean LOL

Thanks @Checkers  She is such a sweet baby. I am so glad she has come so far in her health. I hope she will grow up to be a healthy adult cat. Her next trip to the doctor will be to get wormed and her shots then to be scheduled to be spayed.

I can't get over this post.. I don't know why, but it is always in my mind and I tend to laugh, even when no one is around.. So, you see.. You've destroyed me!

There's nothing wrong in making fun of your pet when he/she's having a problem.. Besides, if it's really serious, you can't make jokes, anyway.

I made fun of Grizzly's shaved "privates" after his neutering A LOT!

She knows it was all in fun. The way she would look at me with that big nose and monster round eyes just reminded me of Stitch, LOL.

Of course with her "nose job" she now reminds me of Owen Wilson...with her crooked nose. I just love her though.

She meets me every morning when I get up to get lovins and of course food and when I get home from work she runs in to meet me to get more lovins and of course food. Then when I sit down she has to come get on the back of the couch and play with my hair.

She gets her wet food twice a day and has free range dry and water during the day. I am just loving her to pieces.

Owen Wilson?? HAHAHAHAAHH!
You're the worst! HAHAHAHAHAH!

Apart from that, I like Owen Wilson an an actor. Laid back, sweet-talking.. cool most of the times.. Like "I don't care if my house just exploded to pieces, I'm fine" kinda type..

Zander is destined to be a star, no matter who she looks like. Either in an animated world or the real world. Doesn't matter! She seems to be such a gentle kitty and so well mannered
She has a special place in my heart, after what she went through and bless you for taking care of her

So happy to read this.  You saved her, and she'll never let you forget it.

That's it! We're going back to barter economy
Like 6 eggs for a bottle of milk, 0.5 kilo of butter for a loaf of bread, a nose job for lifetime hairstyling..! People used to live so much simpler back then.. They also exchanged 2 cows for a bride..
