No - she was 8-9 months old (we think) when I found her at the farm where I keep my pony. She was hiding in a cellar, and was in pretty poor shape when I got her. She's now the definition of a Velcro cat!:lol3:

"What's with the camera already, mom?"Well we had a great weekend. Zander is playing and very active, like a healthy kitten should be. Her nose is still lopsided but it is better and so adorable. am amazed at how much weight she has gained since Thursday. She looks like a completely different kitten. I have been picking her up a little and loving on her then putting her down so she will know that being picked up is not always bad. She is getting better but we are just taking it slow. If she never likes to be picked up a lot that's fine too. She will stand and let you pet her for as long as you want and even grab your hand if she isn't finished yet. It's just too cute.
I tried to get a decent picture of her this morning but she is very camera shy and well refuses to cooperate. I have a couple that are ok but not great. So thanks again to everyone who have kept up with her and here are pictures of her this morning.
Camera shy baby.
Not a happy camper to be picked up for a picture. LOL Love the look on her face.
Hahahaha. Ruby was a bit Velcro-y when I first adopted her, but she's a bit more independent now, so I can at least get some things done without a cat in the middle of everything! No - I she was 8-9 months old (we think) when I found her at the farm where I keep my pony. Oh she was giving me looks like I was the evil paparazzi after a shot for a trash magazine, LOL. If she could speak human she really would have had some bad words to say to me, but I know those looks so I got these two and quit, LOL"What's with the camera already, mom?"
The sideways shot of her makes me want to snuggle my face in there. Cat huffing, I think they call it?
Can't find my cat to get my fix, so in honor of all things happy, I'll send Zander my favorite emoticon!
Oh yes she HAS to be loved on and demands it but just doesn't want to be picked up and that's alright with me. Of course she did this morning.
I just read this saga for the first time and she is SO lucky that you found her and insisted on a thorough exam! She's a real trooper, and she'll turn out to be a real lover-bubbles. I've had two cats, one male one female, who were/are not picker-uppers either, but affectionate just the same.
@kntrygrl256 Maybe Zander feels a little shy to take photos, so recently after her "nose job" HAHAHAHAHAH! Give her time!
I am so happy she 's doing well and recovering and unfolding her wonderful purrsonality - Keep up the good work
Oh! Be sure you catch her naked! They sell big time!!
Ya know I didn't even consider that. I will have to be more like paparazzi and sneak around to catch a picture of her when she least expects it.
Always.... she does love "streaking" around the house LOL
