I have a litter of kittens that is about to be 2 wks old
We had to bomb the house yesterday
So we took the kittens and the momma cat
Out with us it was hot and I didn't want to be
Out in the heat any longer with kittens and the momma
Cat then need be.

I'm asking this question to verify that I'm right on the fact that
Kittens should not be in heat long or at all.
Vs. What my father and roommate say
They say there fine in the heat as long as there in the shade and that they can cool themselves off which is what they said to me when I checked on them and
Said it's time to go home the kittens should not
be In heat
in case anyone is concerned about my question
They are fine all of the kittens and the momma cat are back in the house in my bedroom
With me and are as healthy and feisty as ever and happy

Would anyone like too join our debate?;)

How hot was it, exactly? There can be a huge difference between hot and HOT.

Well, in that case I will assume it's around 25 degrees celcius. In the shadow, 25 degrees would be totally fine. I would be more worried if they were put in the burning sun, in the rain, or a cold spot where they could get hypothermia.

Specially for young kittens, 25 degrees is a preferred temperature. It's more the draft/wind you should worry about when taking this small kittens outside.

Nay, small kittens cant keep themselves the warmt, and thus, not cool themselves either.  At best they can move from say, a heat pad into some more cool place...

So its important to see, its not cool - if its cool, they must be warmed by mom or by a heat pad

and its not too hot  - over 26-27 celsius begins to be uncomfortable for them, like its uncomfortable for humans...

But it they are in shadow a sunny, hot day, its usually OK.

Im glad they and their mom are OK.

Welcome back with further questions and updates!

I'm taking care of these kittens and the momma no doubt
Last month she had her first litter but they all passed away
Around the time they began walking for an unknown reason

This litter is more active then the last and seem to be doing fine
But I'm not letting my guard down yet. I keep checking on them
Constantly everyday

I'm doing everything I can to make sure there safe
And healthy

Do you have a vet you use?  I don't want to scare you.

There are some dormant viruses/bacteria that are activated (not the right word but on the same order?) when the mom starts lactating.  It is passed onto the kittens through the milk.  the biggest kittens succumb first because they drink the most milk.  This is not common, but one of the things that could cause a whole litter to die.  It may be possible to get the milk tested.
