I am raising (or they are raising me) 2 cats that are from a shelter and one has an ear polyp. They are brothers and are loving 9 month old kittens.
I have scheduled surgery to remove my cats ear polyp next week. I hate to see my kitty undergo surgery, but the advise from my vet and the information on the internet, it appears that surgery is the only alternative. However, I appeal to any readers to let me know if there is an holistic or any other treatment that does not require an operation?
PLEASE respond or PM me if you are aware of a non-surgery approach for my kitty. I do not want him to suffer, and will probably have the vet surgically remove the polyp, unless anyone has any other ideas.
Also, if your cat has an ear polyp and / or had one, and you elected not to have the polyp removed, I would appreciate any information about how your cat is doing? And, if the cat is taking any medication. If yes, what is the name of the prescription? And, does your cat seem like he/she is in pain or free of pain or uncomfortable?
Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.
Best.
