I started my Alice on Purina Kitten Chow. She was on that up til about 2 months ago. Then I switched her to Purina Indoor Formula because she is an strictly indoor only Kitty. Is that food good for her? If not what should I give her?

Many people here advise against feeding dry food of any brand. Dry food can contribute to many health issues later in life, such as kidney disease and obesity. You can read more about proper nutrition and health at http:/www.catinfo.org

Here are some articles to help you choose a good food to feed:

An all canned food is best. There are people here who feed both canned and dry and even a few who have to feed only dry for some reason.

Purina makes canned cat food that you can feed, if you want to stick with that brand. For something higher quality, there's a lot of choices with varying prices: Nature's Variety, Merrick, Tiki Cat, Weruva, Blue Buffalo, Wellness, Nutro, Natural Choice, Avoderm, etc. And there's nothing wrong with Friskies or Fancy Feast or any similar big name brand. The brand that your cat likes to eat and you can afford is the "best" one
Many brands have both canned and dry foods.
