I had a surprise phone call this morning from a teacher/friend that I had in high school (nearly 25 years ago!). We still send Christmas cards (news letters) to one another. . . . she lives approx. 30 min. south of me.
She read my annual letter and said she had to call me. She said she almost adopted Morrell from the Humane Society! (My newest kitty).
She almost went back to get him, but decided to adopt another cat that was on it's way to a shelter instead.
What a small world!!
