Hello everyone - this is my boy Harley. Within the past few months he has developed a scab in his right ear on his tragus and there's another scab starting to form on his intertragic notch (roughly 10 o' clock) compared to the main scab. I refuse to take him to the vet because he gets so stressed that he throws up blood, so the vet is an absolute no. I'll break it down:

- He's declawed so he can't scratch himself open

- He doesn't itch his ears

- Only his left ear is affected

- His diet/environment has not changed

- He does not have fleas nor mites and he's not on any medications

What do you guys think it could be? I've included some pictures. If you have any questions feel free to ask. :)

Are there any other cats in the household that he would have gotten poked or scratched? It looks like a puncture, the first close-up and an infection that may not be healing. I would apply Colloidal Silver () if it were me (four times per day - very safe to use) - BUT, I need to be careful doling out homeopathic remedies such as that but since he gets so stressed out from going to the vet, then that is what I would try. OR a Neosporin ointment. Could you send a picture to your vet and ask? Might your vet prescribe something via telephone to try?

My vet doesn't work like that. They won't give any advice unless they see the animal.

The only other cat he lives with is his sister and she just sleeps all day. She's declawed as well and I can't think of anything he could've gotten poked on. The scab has fallen off before and it's just a scrap, not a puncture. I've treated puncture wounds before and this looks completely different to me, plus we make sure there's nothing sharp around the house. I can try the Neosporin since I cannot afford the Colloidal Silver.

Well, I tried the Neosporin and it helped. The scab went away, then it came back tenfold. Now I'm back in Florida and I have no idea what to do ... :( It bleeds constantly and  Harley is declawed. He's itching himself so much that hes rubbing his skin raw with his pads.
