Two months ago I thought we'd lose Tony for sure, due to an auto immune problem. But now he is doing good. His blood count was 11 at the beginning, which was dangerously anemic and could have warranted a blood transfusion. But our vet tried a couple of antibiotics and they worked. His blood count is now 23 (as of today) - still the low side of normal, but so much better. Then he had a UTI which involved bleeding, but after 2 different antibiotics that problem has stopped - no more blood. He's put back the weight he lost and is eating like a little pig. We now call Tony our "born again Tony". So happy to be my Tony back. He's just the sweetest, gentlest, best tempered cat I have ever seen. Hope we have him for a long time to come. (he's now 14).

I am so glad that boy is doing so well! I was scared you were going to lose him, Lana. It's wonderful that he's feeling so much better. He's going to be around for a long time yet.
