My cat is pregnant and I'm not sure how far along she is.

OK.   She is a beautiful cat.
Thank you! I also have a question. She always wants to be with me and follows me EVERYWHERE, but today it's its like she is very aloof. Still not eating as much as she was. As far as I know she's only ate once today. Is she acting normal? I have twin boys that run around my house all day and when they run past her she usually gets up and runs, but now she won't even flinch if they get to close to her. I guess she's just way to exhausted to move. Should I confine her to her nesting room, or let her do her thing?

She sounds fine.  So long as she isn't showing signs of distress I wouldn't worry.  I don't know how she would feel about being put in a room by herself.  She is probably tired and may want to see you if not follow everywhere.  I would worry about the boys stepping on her it they are used to her running away.   Can you put the boys in a room?  Just kidding.

When she is in labor she may want you by her side the whole time.

Haha!! [emoji]128514[/emoji] Right? My boys are very rambunctious! Lol, they'd have the whole room destroyed!!!! That's defiantly not a good idea!
But anyways, if I go to the bathroom or somewhere far from her she slowly waddles to where I am. Of course she plops herself back down as if she doesn't have the willpower to stand another second longer! Lol. My poor baby!Every day she just gets bigger and bigger! As for putting her in her room, I don't want to, and most likely won't do that. I just need to be more strict about my boys playing around her!

Ella keeps jumping up on my kitchen counters, and they're roughly 3 feet tall. Is it safe for her to be jumping fom that height? Sorry about all these questions. Lol, this is my first exsperience with a pregnant cat. Very anxious! :eek:hno:

Cats seem to continue jumping around regardless of pregnancy, and are good at landing on their feet. One would think they wouldn't feel like jumping, but maybe it feels good to defy gravity! :)

Lol, she acts like she's a kangaroo! My little dare devil! How is it possibly safe for the kittens to take the impact of the landing? It sounds like a sack of bricks hitting hardwood! :jaw:

**UPDATE: Ellas belly is rock hard, and the kittens don't seem to be as active as before.**
Should her belly be dropping soon??

She will drop soon and you will be able to tell. She's getting closer.

What does, or what will, it look like when she starts to lose her mucus plug?

It will be a small discharge of material that will look yellowish or pinkish. She may eat it. I never saw my cat's at all. You'll notice a lot more signs that she's getting closer though. That's not the only sign.

Aha! That is a good sign! Can you tell if her vulva is dilating?

Ella had 6 beautiful kittens July 13th around 10 o'clock PM, all survived! There's 2 calico, 1 gray tabby, 1 orange/white, 1 orange tabby and 1 solid white!!! The babies and Ella are doing great (: She doesn't want me to leave her side at all though.
