Do you have a funny story about how life at home is not the same as in the real world that has no cats? I'd like to invite you to share your story!

I'll start off with something that happened to me today.

So yesterday night, I fed the kitties some pouches and I usually put the leftover sealed packets on the counter, only this time I didn't notice until I I got to my room that I noticed that I had put them  in my pocket.

Slept and got up in the morning.I went down to the kitchen and took the pouches down with me, fed the kitties and went to work.

Got off the car and noticed my pocked was unusually heavy.: I forgot them again and took them to work! So now I have 2 delicious "Tuna" and "Grilled Mix" packets of cat food in my desk drawer and it's almost lunchtime! hahaha jk!

My co-workers had to memorize the name of my first cat, because that's what I used as the security question on all the password-protected websites I set up at the office.

I assume a funny "Cat Guy" story is okay?

After my wife and I moved into our current home we had very busy schedules and it took a few weeks before we met all the neighbors. Across the street was a big fellow named Bob who had lots of tattoos, 2 pit bulls and rode Harleys. Bob would sometimes see me out walking our Bengal Makena. I am a nurse, so sometimes I would be walking Makena in my scrubs. I figured Bob was rolling his eyes and telling his buddies in the bar about the "male nurse who moved in across the street and walks his cat" and everyone was falling off their barstools laughing....

One morning Bob came over, introduced himself and said "oh, thats a Bengal, I love Bengals, can I pick him up?" Bob proceeded to pick up Makena and hug him, which Makena does not usually care for, but Makena took an instant liking to Bob. Turns out Bob loves just about all animals and they all seem to like him too.
I guess you really can't judge a book by its cover. He and his wife have since become very dear friends and Makena still adores Bob.

That Fat Cat—Where’s She At!?

My fat cat often made me wonder where

she was at, if she just played tit-for-tat,

large and black, she really did know well that

she lived with me, host, who really did care

for her health yet mistakenly would dare

to feed her foods that made her rather fat,

which accompanied her as a real brat

along with her lasting, piercing, green stare.

Present with that often-adoring glare

were the frivolous acts of my sweet cat

and she could sometimes cause me a nightmare

in my life by after having just sat

in her ‘space,’ then just leave—guess who’d bear

the worry, why she was not on her mat?

Cute story. I have a Bengal too. He does not like to be picked up, touched, kissed, hugged or anything else which he deems undignified. But he indulges us until we have had our fill of loving on him.
