They most likely will. Cats that are trapped (ferals) are generally neutered/spayed and vaccinated at the same time without problems.With other kittens/cats, the vet may vaccinate during the follow-up visit.

Sending her for a spay surgery at 4 months old? Isn't that way too early? Don't you want to wait for 2 more months? Usually for my case, I would tell the owner to give it around 3 weeks or so before the next vax. Just in case.

  She's already been spayed, @ahthongg

Many shelters spay cats as early as 8 weeks.  The six month thing is now questioned quite a bit by qualified people. They believe that an earlier age may be better.

Many shelters, facilities, etc., have a minimum weight requirement for a spay/neuter surgery to be performed. Some shelters, etc., have their minimum at 2 lbs. Some prefer/require a 3 lb minimum.

@PushPurrCatPaws & @shardaye

I see! I guess we do things quite differently here hence I was abit confused about it. Thanks for the clarification! We only started spaying only at the age of 6 months and also fully vax.
