Hey everyone!

I'm fostering 3 kittens.  One of them threw up a few times when I got him, and there were worms in it, looked like roundworm, so all three kittens went to the vet Tuesday and got Strongid-T.  The other two never showed any symptoms of worms, but they were all born outside and one of them was in the same litter as the roundworm puker.  Thursday the puker and his sister went to get spayed/neutered.  They have seemed fine but I was noticing some mucus stool, pale brown/greyish.  I thought it was from the roundworm puker but I just was watching them and it was his sister that had it.  Very mucusy, not loose like diarrhea.  There is no blood or anything, no visible worms.  We were told by the vet to give them a 2nd dose of the dewormer 2 weeks after the first and then they would test their stool 3 days after that.  They didnt check their stool before any treatment.  Is this a side effect of the dewormer? Or Some other problem I need to get checked.  She gets wet and dry kitten food and we have been using baby food while working to socialize them, I think its turkey flavor but definitely no onions in it.  She is eating fine, playing, but before she got the dewormer he poop was normal cat poop, hard, dark brown, compact. I'm just worried and wondering if its a side effect or could be something else.  I'm new to fostering and to worms and the like. THanks in advance for your help!

I have no idea what it is, but I'd call the vet tomorrow and ask.
