Hi Everyone! My naughty monster managed to open and eat an entire 80gr tub of catnip drops last night...he seems fine in himself but has (unsurprisingly) created a bit of a poonami in the bathroom this morning

He is 'asking' for his breakfast but I'm not sure if I should feed him or not? He's never had stomach problems before and I don't really want to give him food that will make him feel bad (or repeat the cleanup that I just finished...) Should I feed him? Everything I read says don't feed them for 24 hours if they have diarrhea but take them to the vet if they still have it after 24 hours. But if nothing goes in, nothing comes out right??

 What a greedy boy! Try starving him for 12hrs - 24 hrs, then give him a day or two of a light diet such as chicken and rice/plain pumpkin. I don't think there's anything really wrong with him - just a case of too many 'sweets'

He must've been high as a kite on that stuff!  I'd feed him a small serving with a touch of plain canned pumpkin added in to help his poops firm up.  I don't think he's sick, just suffering the consequences of his imbibing in too much nip.  Feed him small portions today and then he can go back to his regular servings tomorrow.

Thanks guys. Can't get pumpkin here this time of year but I've fed him a couple of tablespoons of dry food and about the same wet. He's slept a lot but seems ok since mid afternoon. Will give him a little more before bed and keep my fingers crossed for a better morning tomorrow
 Thanks again for the advice!

You can also use squash baby food, no veggies or anything added to it.  I've used that in a pinch and it works just as well.
