Hello, I am very worried about my 16 week old cat. He ate a plastic/ rubber bracelet early this week and vomited pieces of it up 4 days ago. He seemed completely fine after. Then 2 days later he vomited more of the bracelet up. And again seemed ok, then an hour later vomited again. I think he got the whole bracket out. But I took him to the vet for X-rays anyway. She couldn't see anything in the X-rays indicating a blockage. So she sent him home after giving some fluids and a shot of cerenia and some sulfacrate suspensions for the next 3 days. I was told if he vomited while on these anti-nausea meds I should be worried. And he did vomit about 12 hours later. But I think it was from being given so much of the sulfacrate suspension at once on an empty tummy. He hasn't vomited in almost 48 hours now. But I am just noticing that his meow is really raspy. Could that be from vomiting? Or maybe from the forest fire smoke around here, even though he is an indoor cat? Or should I be concerned that he has something stuck in his throat??[emoji]128549[/emoji] he has all his energy back, he is eating and drinking like normal and playing like his normal old crazy self :) so I know he feels better... But I also noticed him open and closing his mouth like he is yawning but he isn't yawning... I might be a paranoid new cat mommy.. But I love this little guy to death. Anyone have any advice for me?

Contact the vet again. I don't know exactly what's going on with him, but it's far better to catch any potential complications early. If you can speak to your vet on the phone, she can tell you how to proceed - she's the one who saw him, after all. Really hope it's all ok :vibes:

The raspy meow could very well be from all the vomiting he's done, but it could also be something else.  I'd at least call the vet and see how to proceed or make another appointment to have the throat checked out.  I would think that if there was some kind of obstruction, that he wouldn't be able to eat and would be choking and gagging while trying to eat.
