Ok so I asked about ringworm that wouldn't go away a little while ago, it had remained contained to one kitty but now I have reason to believe the other kitty has it (like, 2.5 months after kitty1 was showing symptoms). I've been treating my cat, and now I'm treating the other cat, and trying to treat the environment but not doing as good of a job as I probably should be. ANYWAY. Is it possible for ringworm to show as dandruff ONLY. I know dandruff can be a symptom but I'm wondering if it's possible that that's the only symptom. My cat has never had dandruff before, but he has it now that he has ringworm and this other cat has had dandruff since I've lived with him (beginning of march) but is only now getting spots and scabs and things that look like ringworm. Please... just help me. I'm so done, I don't know what to do.

I used to have a cat with a ringworm, at first I didn't notice any symptoms. But a while later, I started noticing weird patches on her skin, this is the only symptoms that pushed me to get her to the vet. The vet did gave me a pill, and not a shampoo or a medicine that is only for outside usage. I took my cat to the vet after 4 days again to get her checked up , and he told me that the cause of the dandruff is a sign of improvement that my cat is getting well. I do recommend you to get your cat checked up by a local vet, since ring worm is extremely contagious, you don't want yourself to catch wringworm too. Its no joke but its easy to treat by adding a cream to the affected area on your body. It takes 2 weeks for the ringworm to start appearing on you. And make sure you clean your house very well to avoid getting any spores.

Dab hydrogen peroxide on the ringworm a few times a day for a week or two. Works wonders and its safe. I have treated this many times before on both cats and dogs. Good luck
